Packetcraft Bluetooth Software Delivers Auracast to Ampetronic/Listen Technologies First-to-Market Auracast Broadcaster
Ampetronic and Listen Technologies have rolled out the first Auracast audio broadcaster. This morning it was announced that the device is the market's first complete installed Auracast™ broadcast audio technology system enabled by Packetcraft's Bluetooth Auracast software. The new solution includes networked installation transmitters for multi-channel broadcast for any size or space, with the option for open or secure transmission. The device is a highly-anticipated real-world demonstration of just how relevant and diverse Auracast's use in public spaces actually is.

DESIGN + REUSE: Bluetooth Channel Sounding: Achieving 10cm Ranging Accuracy
Packetcraft is collaborating with Imec, a world-renowned semiconductor R&D and innovation pioneer to enhance Bluetooth ranging and location capability. In a co-authored article released by the Bluetooth SIG, both companies discuss a new technique called "channel sounding" for accurate distance measurement between Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, capable of achieving accuracy within a 10-30 cm range. This technology has significant implications for applications such as real-time location services, secure building access, digital keys, indoor wayfinding, and proximity detection.
